For instance, many times an album will have the same acoustic guitar sound on every song, whether slow or fast, picking or strumming. Rather than simply use a consistent sound, BCS uses varying microphone techniques to achieve the right sound for each song... often using 2 or 3 microphones for a picking acoustic guitar on a slow song or just one for songs with multiple strumming guitars.
